Route: Kaeng Krachan Nature Reserve; riding a traditional Thai boat, feeding of swimming monkeys, a suspension bridge, a mountain of bats, a flight of bats at sunset.
During a boat trip through the reservoir, located in the largest national park in Thailand, you will meet swimming monkeys and be able to feed them. The boat will make a stop at the island, which was once a military base. It is closed to visitors, but you can take a walk on the suspension bridge and take beautiful photos.
By sunset, you will find yourself on a small viewpoint, from where you can watch an interesting sight – the flight of bats. A long wavy ribbon in the sky with millions of bats will surprise you with it’s performance.
A full trip exploring into the wild jungles of Thailand’s largest national reserve needs a 4×4 vehicle to be able to drive into the mountains. The nature here is truly remarkable, with hundreds of different bird species, various mammals from huge wild elephants, deer, sun bears, and various primates, butterflys, and many other things to see, not least the magnificent trees and plants of the jungle and views across the mountains. If you are particularly lucky, you might also be able to see the early morning ‘sea of mist’.
